We fully recognise the value and fundamental importance of occupational therapy in promoting people’s wellbeing, maximising independence and supporting people to live meaningful lives.
The post holder will:
Promote and improve independence of adults in the community by provision of equipment and adaptations, moving with dignity, and interventions within our short stay assessment unit
Provide person-centred occupational therapy interventions to prevent, reduce and delay the need for formal care & support services
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to work alone and within a team
Be able to organise and prioritise workload and balance this with conflicting demands of the role
The service operates over 5 days a week. Monday-Friday (no unsociable hours).
We welcome applicants who are newly qualified or returning to practice.

We will support you to develop/ enhance your skills in functional assessment, person centred planning, providing advice and guidance on independence skills, assessing for a range of specialist equipment, minor and major adaptation planning, re-housing and moving with dignity.
