The Ridge Employability College (TREC) is a leading Specialist Provision for young people aged 16 to 25 years old with SEND. We provide a challenging curriculum for young people with Asperger syndrome, autistic spectrum disorders, SEMH and a range of additional complex learning and communication needs. The college was formed in Doncaster to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our young people.

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Tutor/Teacher to continue to drive the college to further success.

Ideally you will be able to:

• Provide inspiration, motivation and vision to help take the college even further forward.
• Provide a relentless focus on enabling all learners to raise their achievement within our learning community and beyond.
• Work in partnership with your colleagues, both in the college and the wider network of schools and colleges to ensure the college continues to be highly regarded in all aspects of its provision.
• Have the capacity to rise to the challenge of monitoring and evaluating all aspects of Education including a contribution towards the planning of the Curriculum.
• Be resilient, dynamic and a committed team player, happy to work closely with the well- established and supportive team.
• Have an understanding of both traditional and alternative educational models.

The college is a high performing, thriving, independent specialist provision recognised by Ofsted for being good in all areas (November 2018).

A detailed knowledge of Further Education and the full range of externally accredited courses, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications, is required, ensuring the best possible standards are delivered and that the education delivered complies with relevant statutory regulations, guidelines, governance and quality standards.
