This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker experienced in front line practice with children and young people or an MST Therapist, to lead the development of wider system knowledge and practice allied with the MST CAN model.
Working within the Centre of Excellence and closely with the MST CAN Programme Manager you will support the development of specific practice and learning opportunities that will enhance the ability of front line teams to work with the MST CAN team.
Drawing on your practice experience and knowledge of the MST CAN model you will provide detailed briefings to social work staff and to the wider Children's Services. You will support the development of a network of practitioners and managers across the Trust who will act as experts within their teams on MST CAN.
Working alongside the Research and Evaluation Officer you will identify opportunities for professional development and training drawing on observations from practice. You will help the speedy implementation of practice developments through the provision of briefings, workshops and other forums to develop practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, dynamic practitioner who is interested in developing both their practice knowledge and staff development skills.
