School Caretaker – Eastwood Village Primary School
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year
Working times 7-10 am AND 3-6 pm (with the requirement to work straight through during recess)
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Facilities Services, in conjunction with Eastwood Village Primary School require a new Caretaker.
The role will involve overseeing the cleaning of the school and also an element of cleaning each day, maintaining the building and offering a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.
You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.
As keyholder you will be responsible for opening and securing the site.
You will be expected to deliver a full range of caretaking, maintenance, janitorial and some cleaning duties. In addition to this we are seeking someone can ensure external grounds are kept clean and tidy.
Experience of dealing with a variety of different customers is preferred as you will liaise with contractors and visitors to the building.
A uniform will be provided.
Previous experience of this kind of work is advantageous.
