An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager within Adult Care, Housing and Public Heath – Provider Service.
The service is responsible for the delivery of high quality in house provision which includes residential care, day opportunities, extracare housing support, assistive living, shared lives, supported living and respite facilities.
This role is responsible for leading and managing a range of operational teams/services and is business critical.
The post holder will be experienced , committed and ensure effective, efficient and safe operation of quality inhouse services, have clear operational oversight of activity within aligned areas, and ensure that services registered with the Care Quality Commission meet fundamental standards and achieve a good to outstanding rating.
There is also a requirement to ensure statutory local authority functions are carried out, and that council objectives are achieved.
The post holder will be accountable for both the performance management and budget management of their service area and will work closely with Team Managers and the Head of Service to ensure that all standards are met and that continuous service improvement is achieved.
This role is required to ensure that performance targets are achieved and accurately reported, including providing written reports, briefings and presentations to a wide range of stakeholders as and when required.
The post holder will also support the Head of Service during a period of significant change, transformation and improvement.
