We are seeking a new Director of Children’s Services to join us on our journey, who will be pivotal in providing inspiring leadership and strategic management within the council and across the borough. You will be at the forefront of driving our ambition to be the most child friendly borough in the country.
A key member of the Corporate Leadership Team, you’ll share collective accountability for our core purpose – to deliver best value, sustainable and relevant outcomes for the people of Doncaster and the wider region. Your ability to build strong, effective working relationships with colleagues and our partners, as we develop ways of working through a period of unprecedented evolution and opportunity, will be vital.
You will be able to manage change effectively, maintain a strong sense of purpose and an appropriate environment and culture, to impact positively on outcomes for all our children, young people and families.
Candidates will need a strong track record of success as a senior leader in children’s services, proficiency in managing cross-organisational strategic change and be an innovative thinker with the ability to operate within and across complex systems.
